Candy “Croissants”

December 15, 2009 in candy, cookie, holiday

These little things are perfect for a last minute get together. They require very few ingredients and take no time at all. Plus they’re every bit as good as the chocolate croissants that some coffee shops charge you an arm and a leg for.

All you really need is a tube of crescent rolls and a bag of tiny candy bars (Snickers!). You just roll out the crescent roll dough and divide each roll into 2 pieces. Wrap the candy bar up, pinching the ends together for a tight seal, and then bake at 375 for about 13 minutes.

If you want to decorate, whisk a tiny bit of milk with powdered sugar until drizzling consistency. And then add whatever festive colors you want!
