Commissary Giftcard Giveaway!
November 9, 2011 in spon

(I know I just posted a giveaway but I wanted to get this one up and sent out to the winner so that they’re able to use it for Thanksgiving.)
I love the military life, it’s true. I love that we packed up our lives and moved all the way across the country. I love that I know it won’t be long before we do it all over again. I love that my kids are growing up surrounded by some of the bravest/strongest/toughest guys I know. I love that we have great healthcare and that I can call one number and have appointments made for all of us within 5 minutes (silly, I know, but man is it convenient).
There are a lot of really great aspects to this life. And, of course, there are the bad things.
At the end of this year, my kids will have spent as much time away from daddy as they did with him. The daddy will have missed both birthdays of our older boys and next year he’ll miss all 3 of their birthdays. Not to mention my birthday, our anniversary, and he’ll spend his own birthday in the cold mountains of who knows where.
When Kikkoman asked if I wanted to give away a Commissary giftcard to one of my readers, I immediately jumped on it! A chance to help out a family who is dealing with the same – or maybe more – issues I am? Definitely!
You probably know Kikkoman because you buy their soy sauce or maybe their teriyaki sauce but they make so much more than that! I started buying their Panko breadcrumbs awhile back and I will never buy another brand. They are by far the best breadcrumbs out there. So crisp and delicious! They sent me a fun package of products to try and I was absolutely shocked when I pulled out 2 cartons of soy milk. Who knew, right?!
And how about that giveaway?
The giveaway is for a $25 giftcard to a Commissary. Please only enter if you have access to a Commissary and will use the giftcard.
The giveaway will run until Friday, November 11 at 10 pm Mountain time. I will email the winner and they will have 48 hours to get back to me. If I haven’t heard from them at that point I will draw another winner.
The giveaway is only open to US addresses. And please, please, please only enter if you have access to a Commissary.
To enter, all you have to do is leave me a comment! I wanna know if you’ve tried any Kikkoman products and which ones you plan on using for your holiday cooking. I would also love to know where you’re stationed (or have been stationed if you’re ex-military) if you want to share! :)

Inlove their low sodium soy sauce!
Kikkoman soy sauce is the only one I buy! We are active duty NAVY stationed in Jacksonville, NC.
I have tried their teriyaki sauerkraut and te bread crumbs . I agree the brea crumbs are great! We are at fort Carson
We’re at Fort Carson too! :)
I’m entering for my sister. We’re Navy brats, but she married in as well. They are stationed at Bremerton in Washington state.
I use their soy sauce for a stir fry!
We are currently stationed at Eglin Air Force Base…but we are Army.
My comment posted before I was done. This would be so helpful for our family for the holidays. We are stationed at Fort Carson right now.
We love their soy sauce, and now I have to try their breadcrumbs as well.
We are currently stationed at Fort Eustis, Va.
We LOVE to make the Panko-Parmesan Chicken! Feeding a family of 6 is no easy feat with everyone having different tastes, but that chicken is a fam fave!! We are currently stationed in Rock Island, IL for I and I duty!!
I cook a lot of stir fries and always use Kikkoman. We are in Hawaii, where my husband just retired from the Air Force and was stationed at Hickham AFB.
I so know what you are going thru. For us the hubby has missed 1 holiday, 1 birthday, youngest son soccer season, he will miss more holidays, birthdays and our 17th anniversary. I do use Kikkoman products but never in my holiday cooking, might have to try that. We are currently stationed at Mountain Home AFB.
I have only tried their Soy Sauce Product and it was delicious on my rice. Actually, one (untraditional) Thanksgiving my mom made fried rice as part of our dinner and I used their soy sauce then! I am the daughter of a veteran and my mom has access to the commissary; so I would give this card to her. She has been stationed in Germany twice (Ansbach and Balmholder- spelling?), as well as several locations all over the US.
I use their soy sauce and panko. We are currently stationed in Hawaii.
I only use Kikkoman’s low sodium soy sauce! I also love their panko bread crumbs. I’m not actually military, but my brother is in the Air Force. He is stationed in North Carolina and I know he and his wife could use this. I’d love to give it to them!
I use Kikkomans Soy Sauce ALLL the time!!! I love it when I make fried rice :)
We are a military family, currently stationed at Hill AFB, Utah !
I grew up on Kikkoman!!! I’m Filipino, so every meal I have rice with kikkoman soy sauce! It’s sin if you don’t LOL!!!
I love their soy sauce! I’ll have to try out their bread crumbs since it seems everyone likes them. Have to ask if apo’s count as a us address for ya? We are newly stationed in Stuttgart Germany :-D
I’m entering for my niece. 1st Thanksgiving away from the family! They are Navy & are in Atlantic Beach, FL. He just got home the other day!
Hey Amanda! I use kikkoman soy sauce, and something else, I can’t quite recall what it is that I have a bottle of, though! I have access to the commissary at Bangor sub base here thru my boyfriend in the Navy, so I guess I should try for this giveaway, huh? ;)
