Best of 2011 (YOUR choice!)

December 29, 2011 in roundup

I can’t believe the year is coming to an end!

I did this post last year and had so much fun with it, that I decided to do it again! So these are the most viewed, most pinned, most commented posts from each month of 2011. I’ll be back on Saturday with my favorites from each month!

January: Pizza Bread. A family favorite so of course I see why it was so popular in January! My husband requests it a lot during football season.

February: Samoas Bars. I posted these bars right as Girl Scouts were appearing outside of every grocery store and this recipe quickly became a hit.

March: Guinness Onion Soup with Irish Cheddar Crouton. This was part of my Saint Patrick’s Day menu and one of my favorite soups ever.

April: New York Style Coffee Cake. Only the BEST coffee cake in the world. I can’t blame you guys for liking this one. ;)

May: Cinnamon Sugar Pull-Apart Bread. I think this bread popped up on every food blog in the month of May and there’s definitely a reason for that: it’s fantastic!

June:  Slow Cooked Oatmeal. Y’all must love the quick and easy breakfasts as much as I do!

July: Caramel Apple Cinnamon Rolls. I made these for my husband’s birthday and they were quite a hit. I got lots of emails from readers who also tried and loved them!

August: Grilled Potatoes with Garlic Herb Oil. We went grill crazy this summer and these potatoes were one of my husband’s creations.

September: Pumpkin Waffles. I had a pumpkin mishap in September when I bought a can that expired in August of 2009 (!!) but once a finally found a good can of the orange stuff, I had lots of pumpkin fun!

October: Bang Bang Shrimp. These shrimp blew up on Pinterest. It’s been pinned over 32 thousand times and that completely boggles my mind. This recipe brings in more traffic than anything else on my blog, by far. Even months after being posted.

November: Pasta Fagioli. My new favorite soup was pretty popular on the blog. I’m  excited that you guys love it as much as I do!

December: Cheddar Ale Soup in Pretzel Bowls. Mmm, one of my favorites too! I could’ve eaten my weight in both the soup and the bowls!
