Best of 2011 (YOUR choice!)
December 29, 2011 in roundup
I can’t believe the year is coming to an end!
I did this post last year and had so much fun with it, that I decided to do it again! So these are the most viewed, most pinned, most commented posts from each month of 2011. I’ll be back on Saturday with my favorites from each month!

January: Pizza Bread. A family favorite so of course I see why it was so popular in January! My husband requests it a lot during football season.

February: Samoas Bars. I posted these bars right as Girl Scouts were appearing outside of every grocery store and this recipe quickly became a hit.

March: Guinness Onion Soup with Irish Cheddar Crouton. This was part of my Saint Patrick’s Day menu and one of my favorite soups ever.

April: New York Style Coffee Cake. Only the BEST coffee cake in the world. I can’t blame you guys for liking this one. ;)

May: Cinnamon Sugar Pull-Apart Bread. I think this bread popped up on every food blog in the month of May and there’s definitely a reason for that: it’s fantastic!

June: Slow Cooked Oatmeal. Y’all must love the quick and easy breakfasts as much as I do!

July: Caramel Apple Cinnamon Rolls. I made these for my husband’s birthday and they were quite a hit. I got lots of emails from readers who also tried and loved them!

August: Grilled Potatoes with Garlic Herb Oil. We went grill crazy this summer and these potatoes were one of my husband’s creations.

September: Pumpkin Waffles. I had a pumpkin mishap in September when I bought a can that expired in August of 2009 (!!) but once a finally found a good can of the orange stuff, I had lots of pumpkin fun!

October: Bang Bang Shrimp. These shrimp blew up on Pinterest. It’s been pinned over 32 thousand times and that completely boggles my mind. This recipe brings in more traffic than anything else on my blog, by far. Even months after being posted.

November: Pasta Fagioli. My new favorite soup was pretty popular on the blog. I’m excited that you guys love it as much as I do!

December: Cheddar Ale Soup in Pretzel Bowls. Mmm, one of my favorites too! I could’ve eaten my weight in both the soup and the bowls!

I’d like to eat every one of those, no wonder they were hits!
Love so many of these and pinned several that I had previously just saved to bookmarks before I jumped on the pininterest bandwagon…definitely trying some soon!
It’s hard to choose which are my favs from that list – probably the potatoes and cinnamon bread :)
love this trip down memory lane…and oh, you make me wanna make pull apart bread, for sure!
I remember when I first found your blog, I said I was going to make bang bang shrimp with chicken and I still haven’t :( I think this was a great refresher post to help me pick out some items for my menu this month :) I love this post, it definitely takes you back in time! I can’t wait to do one myself next year!
Oh goodness. Looks like I’ve got some printing to do. And a market run. And I guess I need to make the Bang Bang Shrimp…I mean, 32k people can’t be wrong, right?
Great list!
What a great rundown. Everything looks fantastic!
I just love reading these posts! My memory is terrible so it’s a blast to see recipes from earlier in the year highlighted. I have a number of these flagged, maybe I’ll actually get to them in 2012…
I love that you did the most popular from each month!! That bang-bang shrimp is pretty snazzy. :) I am going crazy wanting to make your cheddar ale soup in pretzel bowls. One of these days I’m going to get around to doing it and my husband wil worship me.
Wow! I am not sure I could pick a favorite – they all look so good!
Happy New Year!
Your total list of favourites looks great. Hard to choose from, although the shrimps…
