Southwestern Deviled Eggs
April 2, 2012 in appetizer

More eggs, y’all!
I made a bunch of deviled egg recipes one day before my husband left (best day of his life) and this was his favorite. He loves everything spicy so of course I knew he would love it. I did not, however, expect him to kill the whole batch within 30 minutes.
It’s a pretty basic deviled egg recipe but you add a bunch of minced pickled jalapenos and then top it with another jalapeno slice. If you’re looking for a way to spice up your eggs, this is perfect!
So who’s already dyed their eggs? We’re waiting until later this week, I think. Maybe sooner if I run out of ways to entertain the crazies. I had planned on doing the silk-dyed eggs but I never got around to searching for silk ties. Boo! Hopefully next year!

Mmm yummy. I think we are doing our eggs tomorrow. My niece is coming over (preschooler) so that will be fun to have my boys and her tackle the eggs. I may need some wine with dinner…
I love a good deviled egg!
Yum! We’re dyeing ours on Saturday, and I think I need to throw in a few extra to do these!
These look SO good! I love Deviled Eggs but I need to start trying some more fun variations of them like these ones! Can’t wait to try.
My kids love deviled eggs and they love spicy stuff! Why have I not thought of this? I will make these this week. Thanks for the recipe!
We don’t dye eggs (maybe someday if/when we have kids) so I won’t have a ton to use up, but all of these deviled egg recipes really have me craving them!
The Mr. would looove these. Deviled eggs are so much fun to experiment with ingredients. Definitely making these for a snacky-poo on Sunday!
