Yay! I am so happy I found this recipe! I have been wanting a healthier version of granola. I left out the nuts and added coconut for the kids and they LOVE it. Next time...almonds and coconut for me.

My pretzels always deflate a bit when I put them in the boiling water. I tried looking up why but everything just said to "be really careful" when transferring the pretzels to the water. :( I'm sorry they didn't work out for you and wish I could help more!

Sorry I missed your comment yesterday! If you made the soup last night, I'm sure you know it makes a ton! :P But yeah, I always have a ton of leftovers - I would say it serves 6 - 8. :)

I *hate* when recipes call for ketchup these days. I don't even know how I made this one. :P As for substitutions, maybe tomato sauce? If you go that route, you might want to add extra sweetness though.

Thanks for reading and commenting. :)

What you mean I can't just throw some Bourbon in the crock pot with some chicken to make bourbon chicken? This sounds quite yummy except for the ketchup. I can't stand ketchup. What could I substitute?

Hi! this soup looks amazing. I'm having a few friends over tonight for dinner and was thinking of making this soup. How many does this recipe serve? I'm just wondering if I should double the recipe.
thanks:)

I feel like I need to class up my farfalle now. ;) That is an adorable bouquet too. My BF makes jokes all the time about living on MREs back when he was enlisted. Says he could still do it. Toootally makes me pout. I think this this is the kind of meal he would love though. Creamy noodles and bacon are all him!
