Weekly Family Menu Plan - 5 weeknight dinners, a weekend breakfast, and a yummy dessert!

Happy weekend, guys!

Fun plans?

I didn’t have anything planned and then I woke up this morning and said, “I WANNA GO FOR A HIKE!”

So we drove down to the lake and it was packed. Because it’s the Saturday before Easter and there was ginormous egg hunt that everyone in Killeen decided to attend.

Ugh.

So we found a spot away from that mess and ended up having a nice little hike with the husky. And doughnuts afterwards! Duh.

This week’s menu plan is looking delicious. So many awesome recipes!

Happy Easter to those who celebrate! I hope you have a fabulous rest of the weekend!

Happy weekend guys!

I hope you had a fabulous week and have fun plans the weekend. I woke up with a cold yesterday – wasn’t I JUST sick? I swear, I have the worst immune system.

So anyway, I’m going to use the weekend to nap and catch up on some housekeeping blog stuff.

This week’s menu looks really spring-y and delicious! I hope it helps you plan your week!

Happy Saturday, y’all!

It is officially Spring Break here and we have SO MUCH going on.

Just kidding.

I’m not leaving my house again until the kids go back to school.

(Except for dog walks and coffee runs. You know, the important stuff.)

I bought so much yesterday at the grocery store just so I don’t have to go again for 10 days. The goal is to spring clean the house, take lots of naps, and watch all 57 seasons of House of Cards.

I’ve watched the first episode of that show 3 times now and I still go, “Huh?” at the end of it each time. So I’m gonna sit down and watch it without distractions and I’m gonna like it.

This week’s menu plan is going to make staying home really easy. Lots of easy meals plus a couple desserts and a delicious breakfast!

Weekly Family Menu Plan - featuring 5 weeknight dinner recipes, a weekend breakfast, and a yummy dessert!

Heeeey guys! Happy weekend!

Did you binge watch Fuller House yesterday? I made it through the first 4 episodes and I’ll definitely be finishing it by the end of the weekend.

Yeah, it’s kind of cheesy but I’m still loving it. I’m obsessed with Kimmy. She is fabulous these days. That bacon and egg scarf? I need it.

My oldest also turns 9 today so we’re doing the whole cake and presents thing. And doughnuts for breakfast, of course! I really, really, really want to make the drive to a doughnut place in Round Rock that several people have told me about but… uggghhhh, driving. We’ll see – we may just end up at Dunkin.

This week’s menu plan is looking great, as usual! We’ve got one of my favorite fish recipes, a couple crockpot meals, some yummy pastas, a spicy snack, and TWO cake recipes. One for breakfast, one for dessert! Everything sounds fantastic!

10 Delicious Holiday Appetizers that are perfect for your New Years celebration!

Who’s excited for New Years?!

I am stupid excited. This is probably my favorite time of year! And yes, I realize that I say that about Mardi Gras, Easter, summer, and Halloween. I can’t help it. I get excited!

Today I’ve got a delicious list of holiday appetizer that would be perfect for any party you’re attending. I always always always do baked brie but I’m thinking of switching it up this year. I made this gumbo dip for Christmas Eve and I may actually make it again for NYE. It was SO good.

While we’re talking New Years, what are you cooking on New Years? I always do black eyed peas because that’s what I grew up with but I feel like they haven’t been doing the good luck job the past few years. Are you doing something besides the peas? I need ideas!
