Hey guys! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and is ready for the new year. For the past few years I’ve done two posts around this time of year showcasing the favorite recipes (mine and yours!) month by month. First up is the favorites chosen by pageviews, pins, comments, things like that! See you tomorrow for my favorites!

January: Just in time for the Superbowl: Texas Cheese Fries! These are super simple and one of the best things on earth!

February: These Samoa Brownies are like a chewy, gooey version of the Girl Scout cookie everyone loves! And they start with a boxed mix!

MarchSlow Cooker Honey Sesame Chicken was one of my family’s favorites and one of yours! I’ve gotten a bunch of emails from you guys saying how good it is.

April: Here’s another easy dinner idea: Smothered Burritos! The meat is cooked in the slow cooker and those kinds of recipes are always a favorite around here.

May: This one has become a favorite for my family so I’m excited that you guys loved it so much too! It’s Slow Cooker Cheesy Chicken and Rice and if you haven’t tried it yet, you must!

June: Mozzarella, Tomato, Avocado Salad is perfect for hot summer days! And it’s so pretty!

July: I finally tried the famous Chocolate Chip Pudding Cookies and loved them! I haven’t made chocolate chip cookies without pudding since then!

August: This drink was definitely a favorite for the whole year. It’s a copycat recipe for Sonic’s Ocean Water and it’s the perfect poolside drink!

September: Another easy dinner! Cheesy Chicken Hobo Packets!

October: You guys love pumpkin as much as I do! The Pumpkin Roll Bars are easier than a real pumpkin roll and just as tasty!

November: Y’all like to spoil your pups like I do apparently! The Peanut Butter & Oats Dog Treats were a hit!

December: And finally, Hashbrown Taco Casserole! My kids won’t eat tacos but they loved this! I’m glad you guys like it as much as we did!

As promised, here are my favorites from 2012! It’s so funny to see how my favorites compared to the most popular recipes. The popular ones tend to be sweet and mine are almost always savory.

Happy New Year! Be safe and have a good night! :)

I bought a carpet cleaner this past weekend. You guys know I have 3 boys, a nutso cockapoo, and a messy husband so this was definitely something that needed to happen. I tell you this because that’s the reason I don’t have a new recipe for you today.

I am obsessed with the carpet cleaner. Every carpet in our house has been cleaned. Twice. I’m WISHING the dog would go roll around in some mud so I have an excuse to pull it back out. I have done nothing but clean, empty the nasty tank, clean, empty… you get it.

But I do have a post full of Easter-ish posts from the past! Lots of good ones that have gotten buried over the years – enjoy!

Coconut Cupcakes! You could use any cupcake & frosting recipe – the toasted coconut nest with little eggs on top is perfect for an Easter celebration.

These Sticky Lemon Rolls with Lemon Cream Cheese Glaze are ridiculous. They’re great for spring since the lemon really lightens up what is typically a very heavy breakfast treat.

Same with these Lime and Cardamom Sweet Rolls. The cardamom reminds you of cinnamon rolls but the lime really cuts through the richness. These are one of my favorites!

Pasca is a traditional Romanian Easter cake but it’s actually a yeast bread that’s stuffed with a sweetened cream cheese mixture. It’s like a giant cream cheese danish.

What’s more perfect for Easter than Carrot Cake Pancakes?!

Broccoli Salad is one of my favorite foods everrrrr. I start craving it about this time every year. It’s great for taking to Easter get togethers.
