Happy Monday, y’all! Also, happy debate day! I feel like I’ve been waiting for this day for months and I’m pretty excited about it.
So how was the weekend? I had a great one. I made an impulsively trip to Austin for shopping and tacos and then had a gloriously lazy Sunday. It poured all day so I used it as an excuse to get doughnuts and take 2 naps. It was amazing.
Today I’ve got a list of 20+ easy and delicious dinners that are perfect for this time of year. Several of my friends have come to me recently saying that they just don’t have the motivation to cook right or just don’t know what to cook or don’t have time. So here ya go, guys! Just start working your way through the list! Click for the full recipe
Okay, so I know Memorial Day is still over a month away but my blogger friends and I have decided to prepare ahead of time.
Because we love grilling. And we love pasta salads. And we really, really love easy no-bake desserts. And all the other delicious recipes you’ll find in this list!
Plus, I’m really excited about Memorial Day because that means the pools on Fort Hood will FINALLY be open and you know I have been anxiously waiting this day since sometime in January. I mean, seriously, pools should open before June in Texas. It’s hot enough in March. Okay?
Plus, school will be out soon and I can roadtrip wherever I want without getting in trouble! So excited. Obsessed with this summer already. It’s going to be a good one!
Anyway, let me know what you usually serve for Memorial Day! I would love some new ideas in case I decide to get wild and have people over!
Oh man y’all, when I left San Francisco on Friday, I was in a sleeveless shirt. And then I stepped off the plane into 3 degree weather. It was painful.
And yeah, that move to Texas isn’t looking so bad right now.
I was in a soup mood all weekend because of the weather so I thought I’d put together a list of my favorite soup recipes across the interwebs. I divided them into chicken, beef/lamb/pork, seafood, and meatless because long lists without categories makes my brain go all fuzzy.
Hey guys! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and is ready for the new year. For the past few years I’ve done two posts around this time of year showcasing the favorite recipes (mine and yours!) month by month. First up is the favorites chosen by pageviews, pins, comments, things like that! See you tomorrow for my favorites!
January: Just in time for the Superbowl: Texas Cheese Fries! These are super simple and one of the best things on earth!
February: These Samoa Brownies are like a chewy, gooey version of the Girl Scout cookie everyone loves! And they start with a boxed mix!
