Secret Recipe Club – Slow Cooked Oatmeal

Cook Time 8 hours

Ingredients

  • cooking spray
  • 2 cups steel cut oats
  • 6 cups water
  • dash of salt
  • ¼ cup raisins
  • ¼ cup pecans or walnuts chopped

Instructions

  1. Spray the inside of the crockpot with the cooking spray. Add all ingredients and stir. Turn on the crockpot to its lowest setting. Cover and leave it overnight.
  2. The next morning, give it a quick stir and then top with whatever you want. Cream, maple syrup, brown sugar, nuts, dried fruit, and granola are all great ideas!
