Slow Cooker Chicken & Dumplings

Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cans Cream of Chicken soup
  • 1 can low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 onion diced
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • teaspoon cayenne
  • 1 package of Grand's Jr. Flaky Biscuits it's a small can with only 5 biscuits

Instructions

  1. In the bowl of the slow cooker place the chicken, soup, broth, onion, and all spices/herbs. Cook on high for 4-5 hours.
  2. Remove chicken and shred. Place back in the crock pot.
  3. Cut each biscuit into 5 pieces and place in the crock pot. Cook for 45 minutes to 1 hour longer (cook longer for less doughy dumplings.
