  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 to 1 ½ cups Italian style Panko bread crumbs

  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic finely minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil finely chopped
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley chopped

  2. In a large mixing bowl combine ground beef, ground pork, parmesan, eggs, salt, pepper, garlic, basil, parsley and dried oregano. Add Panko ½ cup at a time until mixture is not to wet and can be formed into balls easily. Roll into small balls and place on broiler pan or baking sheet. Bake for 30 – 40 minutes or until meat is cooked through. Serve with pasta and sauce of choice.
