Preheat oven to 450F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar until no lumps remain. Use a pastry cutter to cut butter into the mixture until butter is pea-sized. Use a rubber spatula to stir in milk, trying not to overwork the dough. Fold in blueberries.

Turn the dough out onto a well flour surface and pat to spread out. Use a biscuit cutter to cut biscuits and transfer to baking sheet.

Bake 9 - 12 minutes, depending on size of biscuits, until golden brown. Remove from oven and brush with remaining tablespoon of butter.

To make the glaze, whisk together powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk until it reaches desired consistency. Drizzle over biscuits.
