Dr. Pepper Fudge

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cups mini marshmallows
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup Dr. Pepper TEN
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 12 ounce bag semisweet chocolate chips
  • sprinkles if desired

Instructions

  1. Line an 8x8-inch pan with aluminum foil or parchment paper. Set aside.
  2. In a large, heavy saucepan, melt butter. Once melted, add marshmallows, sugar, Dr. Pepper TEN, and salt. Cook on medium, stirring often, until the mixture is smooth, 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and semisweet chocolate chips. Stir until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth again.
  3. Pour into the prepared pan and top with sprinkles. Refrigerate until set (at least an hour).
