Honey Chipotle Chicken Strips - delicious sweet and spicy sauce on crispy chicken tenders!

This is my favorite time of year.

Y’all already know that though. Football season is what I live for. I love nothing more than staying on the couch all Saturday watching football, only getting up to make some yummy snacks for everyone.

I picked up some of my favorite easy entertaining foods at Walmart before the games began on Saturday so we will be ready for a tabletop tailgate.

I’m in love with the Tyson® Any’tizers® Snacks. Wings without frying? Yes, please! These make Game Day eats super simple. I love every flavor but my kids really dig the Honey BBQ, so I went with those this time.

And the State Fair® Mini Corn Dogs are my go-to when I’ve got a ton of kids coming for the football party. I’ve never met a kid who doesn’t love a corn dog and I won’t lie, I have a hard time resisting these mini ones.

The Tyson® Crispy Chicken Strips are another favorite. I love these for quick weeknight meals, and I also think they are perfect for entertaining. Serve them with a variety of dipping sauces and the crowd will go crazy for them!

All three of these yummy snack options are super easy to prepare. Each one just needs to go in the oven for less than 20 minutes! So you can pop them in the oven and let them get warm and delicious while you fix your hair or do the last minute cleaning of your house that you should have done the night before and now you’re panicking because your guests are set to arrive in 30 minutes, and there’s still dog hair in every corner of your house.

Just me?

Oh, okay.

For this spread, I put them on my favorite football field plate and then served some dipping sauces alongside. I just went with the standard ketchup and mustard for the State Fair Mini Corn Dogs. I feel like that’s the best way to do it when it comes to corn dogs! And then we always do a separate dish of ketchup and mustard mixed together that my kids refer to as “corndog sauce.” Every kid seems to love it.

But the Crispy Chicken Strips are a totally different story! One of my favorite ways to jazz up these delicious and easy chicken strips is to serve them with homemade dipping sauce. I mean, why put out a bottle of ranch when you can make something homemade and extra delicious? I’m a big fan of the, “Whoa! You made this?!”

And now this sauce? I’m obsessed with it!

The honey and chipotle combination is one of my favorites in the world. It’s the perfect amount of sweet and spicy – and also easily adjusted if you want more or less spice. This recipe calls for 2 teaspoons of ground chipotle powder, but I only do 1 teaspoon when I am serving kids or people I know aren’t into spice. If you happen to be a spice fiend, feel free to add a bit more!

You can either dip the crispy chicken strips into the sauce or drizzle it over top or put your strips in a bowl and toss them with the sauce. I like the last way because I like a lot of sauce.

If you need other easy and delicious snack hack ideas for the big game, Tyson Foods has so many options. Besides the ones I shared here, they also have Hillshire Farm® Lit’l Smokies® Cocktail Links, Jimmy Dean® Roll Sausage, Tyson® Individually Frozen, and Ball Park® Frozen Pulled Pork. I love every one of those products and they are perfect for football entertaining. You can find them all at your local Walmart store! #TabletopTailgate
