25+ 4th of July Recipes! Dinner, dessert, and drink recipes for the holiday!

Happy Monday, y’all!

Can you believe next week is the 4th of July?

I can’t believe we’re already a week into summer and I haven’t been to the beach once! Don’t worry, taking care of that problem next week. Stupid excited. Bought a doughnut float. And a new bikini. Maybe more than 1 new bikini.

I love summer.

Anyway, if you’re planning on throwing a 4th of July party or attending one, I’ve got a list that will make your life so much easier. Red, white, and blue everything! We’ve got desserts, snacks, drinks, and even some great grilling recipes. Those aren’t red, white, and blue. Don’t recommend eating anything blue that comes off the grill.

Weekly Family Menu Plan - 5 weeknight dinners, a weekend breakfast, and a yummy dessert!

Happy Saturday, y’all!

I’m currently binge-watching the new Orange Is The New Black season – so good! I simultaneously love and hate that they release all the episodes at once because now I’ll have to wait another year for more! Gahhhh!

This week’s menu plan looks amazing! We’ve got my favorite summer salad, grilled chops, a couple pastas, and cheesy chicken. Plus, the most delicious looking cheese fries! Aaaaaand scones and chocolate cake!

Don’t forget to print our your grocery list before you head to the store!

Are you loving summer?

I’m loving summer. This has been the best summer of my life and we’re only a few weeks in. My kids are all at really good ages for outdoorsy things right now and we’re just really loving everything central Texas has to offer.

Plus, we’re counting down the days to our next roadtrip!

Wait. Another roadtrip with 3 boys and a dog?

Amanda, are you crazy?

Happy Monday!

I hope your weekend was fabulous. I spent mine recovering from our roadtrip.

You guys, we drove through Houston when it was still raining. It was the scariest thing I’ve ever done. And OF COURSE I’d planned to stop at a doughnut place and was dumb enough to get off the interstate because it didn’t click in my pea-sized brain that Houston was flooded.

Survived that, got back on the interstate, and the freakin’ interstate was flooded.

I spent a solid 2 hours in Houston trying to figure out how I was going to save all 3 kids and the dog if the Jeep got swept away.

No, I don’t overreact. Why do you ask?

I don’t recommend coming to Texas until it’s done raining. Just stay away. Not a good situation.
