Sparkling Cranberry Sweet Tea is the perfect holiday drink for the entire family! And it’s made with Milo’s Tea so you know it’s delicious!
Thanksgiving is a week from today. I saw on Instagram that Christmas is less than 40 days away. Is that true?! Are we ready? I’m not. I mean, my house is decorated for Christmas because I am me but I haven’t even thought about Thanksgiving.
I’ve been annoying my children with “What should I make?! Are you sure we need green bean casserole? What if we skipped the mashed potatoes and just did sweet potatoes?” questions nonstop though and the only definitive answers they’ve given me is that they want 3 different kinds of pie and this Sparkling Cranberry Sweet Tea that I made last week.
Milo’s Tea Company is a family owned, certified woman owned business located in Bessemer, AL. Milo’s was founded as a restaurant in 1946 by Milo and Bea Carlton after Milo returned from serving his country in World War II. In 1989, Milo’s began selling their fresh brewed Famous Sweet Tea to local Birmingham grocery stores and now Milo’s beverages can be found in thousands of retailers across the United States.
It is the most delicious tea and I say this with authority as I am also from Alabama and was therefore raised on sweet tea.
Milo’s Tea is fresh brewed, and features natural ingredients. No preservatives or added acids. Besides the cane sugar variety I used in this recipe, they also have no calorie and unsweet options, as well as lemonade, and a tea and lemonade mix. The no calorie one is my official checkout line impulse buy.
Anyway, just check out the ingredient list on their juices and teas, and you will see the difference. Drink Milo’s and taste the difference.
I like to do fun drinks for the kiddos for holiday get togethers because y’all know I put a lot of thought into adult drinks and I want the kiddos to feel special, too.
I mean, who doesn’t enjoy a fancy drink?
This one’s actually really easy and you can totally make it ahead of time and store it in your fridge. It’s just the Milo’s Tea with some cranberry juice. And then when you’re ready to serve it, pour it over ice and top with sparkling water and some frozen cranberries.
But maybe warn the kids that the cranberries aren’t very tasty because my 6 year old was not happy with me after he bit into one.
