Is your family obsessed with hot dogs like mine is? I buy hot dogs every single week and by the end of the week, my kids are whining because they’re all gone! Hot dogs are just one of those super easy summer dishes that makes everyone happy!

I have not been partaking in the hot dogs because, while my kids don’t care, I just prefer to taste of an all-beef hot dog and sometimes those can be hard to find.

I found these 100% beef Park’s Finest™ Frankfurters from Ball Park® at my local Safeway recently and I have to tell you that I’m obsessed. I picked up the Signature Seasoned and Cracked Dijon Mustard but they also have Slow Smoked Hickory.

The Cracked Dijon Mustard is quite possibly my new favorite thing. It’s got actual mustard seeds in it so I can skip the toppings completely!

Like I mentioned, they are 100% all beef and they are also free of nitrates and nitrites, artificial colors and flavors so you can feel good about serving these to your family and friends all summer long. #StartYourGrill!

If you are near a Safeway, you can print out a $.55 off coupon for Park’s Finest™ Frankfurters from Ball Park® that is good from 5/26/14 – 6/1/14.

Need some hot dog grilling tips?

  • To prevent your hot dogs from sticking, make sure you spray your grill with vegetable oil before you put your dogs on it!
  • Don’t pierce the hot dog with a fork – use tongs so the juices don’t leak out!
  • If you like a smoky flavor to your hot dog, keep the top down on the grill the entire time you’re grilling it!
  • There’s a particular order you need to do your condiments! Who knew! You should also start with wet ingredients like ketchup or mayo, top with chunky ones like relish and onions, then you add your shredded cheese, and finally you add any spices, like salt and pepper.

Now, let’s talk side dishes! What do you serve with hot dogs?

My alltime favorite hot dog side is baked beans. I’ve got that recipe up there coming for you next week but if you can’t wait until then, I’ve got a great bacon-topped one!

I also really love both fries and chips with hot dogs. And I’m not ashamed to put both on my plate at the same time.
