Grapefruit Rosemary Sparkler - easy, festive drink recipe for all your holiday parties. Grapefruit juice and Prosecco with a fresh rosemary simple syrup!

Okay, I know I swore that I’d never be obsessed with cheeseboards but it’s happened. I’m obsessed.

I used to never keep crackers and cheese and weird jams and all that on hand but now? What if we need a cheeseboard and some yummy drinks on a Sunday night to go with our 5th viewing of Home Alone 2?

I’ve made at least 3 already this month. They’re just the perfect easy dinner or so fun to throw together if you decide to have a last minute get together.

Peach Cherry Sangria - white wine sangria with peaches, cherries, and fresh basil! The perfect summer drink!

Hey guys, happy Friday! How was your week? Are you also depressed that there was no Bachelorette this week?

Anyway, my mom came in yesterday!

Kicked that off by realizing that the Jeep had a flat tire minutes before I needed to leave for the airport to get her. Luckily the boyfriend was here and got it changed for me because otherwise?

I would’ve sat in my driveway and cried.

I haven’t seen my mom in almost a year – crazy, right? I mean, we talk pretty much every day of our lives but still.

Of course the boys started begging to go to the lake as soon as she stepped off the plane so we ended up spending a couple hours floating around.

Guuuuuys.

Bad news.

I’m sick. Again.

Whyyyy does this happen to me?

And it’s extra lame because the only thing I want to do right now is spend all my time in the woods and I can’t do that when I feel like death. Especially since I am running out of time to hike before it gets unbearably hot in Texas.

I did make spicy cocktails because I 100% believe that both spicy foods and a strong cocktail can help get rid of a cold.

Sangria Popsicles - easy and delicious! Only a few ingredients! Perfect for your next party!

Guys.

It’s hot in Texas.

Did you know it’s hot in Texas?

You did?

Oh, okay.

I guess this is news to no one.

Anyway, I’m really into showing up at at my friends’ houses with homemade boozy popsicles these days since it’s so hot and also because they’re so much more fun than showing up with cocktail supplies. And lucky for me, I’m usually just walking over to my neighbors’ house so popsicles are easily transported.

For these really easy Sangria Popsicles, I used Woodbridge by Robert Modavi Chardonnay. Woodbridge has been around for over 30 years and is one of my go-tos because I know I can trust their wines to be delicious and make any occasion more fun.

And what’s more fun than popsicles made from wine?!

Like I said, these are SO EASY. Cut up a bunch of fruit – I used strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and kiwi, but use whatever you like. And then mix together the Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi Chardonnay and a little bit of lemonade. And then combine it all in popsicle molds. Freeze for 8 hours and then get ready for your friends to really love you when you show up at the block party with a tray of frozen wine.

They are so pretty – I just can’t get over all the bright colors! And seriously delicious!

Pineapple Rosemary Crush – easy cocktail recipe with pineapple, rosemary, and sparkling wine! Perfect for a party.

Pineapple Rosemary Crush - easy cocktail recipe with pineapple, rosemary, and sparkling wine! Perfect for a party.

Today I’m heading up to Salt Lake City (OMGMOUNTAINS! I might just stay forever!) for a conference so I have to stick with my tradition of posting a cocktail on days when I fly.

I actually really enjoy flying but I’m also that person that has a minor panic attack with every bump. Which is why we talk cocktails on days that I fly. Because I’ll probably spend most of the flight wishing I had one.

The conference is going to be so much fun though. I’m rooming with my bestie Nicole and we coordinated our flights so that we land at the same time and can navigate SLC together. And there is going to be SO MUCH FOOD. I plan on gaining at least 10 pounds.
