Melon Ball Sangria – the perfect summer cocktail! Watermelon, honeydew, and cantaloupe balls with fresh mint, white wine, vodka, and ginger ale. So refreshing, so simple, and great for a party!
Hi guys, I haven’t shared a cocktail in forever! (Seriously, it’s been over a year! Who am I?!)
I bought these melon balls months ago with the intention of making this sangria with them and then almost immediately lost them in my freezer. But my children have eaten through our stash of Hot Pockets and the melon balls have been found!
I just love sangria, especially if I’m making drinks for more than a couple people. It’s a great way to stretch a bottle of wine and also not be making drinks one at a time all night long.
This Melon Ball Sangria is one of my favorites for summer. You have to try it!
Are you dressing up today? Tell me you are and tell me how cute you’re going to be.
I, as you know, still haven’t put out my Halloween decorations so you know I didn’t get a costume. I will put cat ears on and call it a done. But first I have to go searching through my shed to find the bin that contains the cat ears.
I’m so unprepared for the holidays. At 11 pm last night I was digging through my kids’ backpacks to see if there were notes about Halloween parties and if I needed to send anything.
I did buy lots of candy though. And I thought I was being smart by not buying any bags with Almond Joys because you know I can’t control myself around them.
Pear Pomegranate Sangria – delicious white wine sangria with pomegranate juice, brandy, sliced pears, cinnamon, and topped with Prosecco. How delicious would this be for the holidays?
Hi guys! Happy almost Friday!
I’ve been having a thing with sangria recently. I think I’ve made more sangria since we moved to Texas than I’ve made in the last 5 years. I’m blaming the heat.
Speaking of the heat, it’s the middle of October. Why is it still 100 degrees? I don’t like it and I need it to change immediately. There are sweaters that need to be worn.
I’m sharing this delicious Pear Pomegranate Sangria today. It is easy, delicious, and the prettiest pink color. It would be perfect to serve with your holiday meal or at any holiday parties you have!
How To Make Pear Pomegranate Sangria
This Pear Pomegranate Sangria is definitely my favorite for fall.
It’s also really simple to make. Just mix white wine (you can use something cheap), pomegranate juice, pear brandy, sliced pears, and a cinnamon stick. Refrigerate that for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, so all the flavors can really come together.
When you are ready to serve the sangria, just pour it over ice and top with a splash of Prosecco! Garnish with more pear slices or a cinnamon stick.
I love making sangria for holiday parties because you can make it ahead of time so it’s ready to go as soon as your guests arrive!
2 ripe but firm pears, peeled, cored, thinly sliced
1 cinnamon stick
1 bottle Prosecco, for serving
In a pitcher, stir together white wine, pomegranate juice, pear brandy, pear slices, and cinnamon stick. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours. To serve, pour sangria over ice and top with a splash of Prosecco.
