Waffles with Sausage and Maple Pepper Gravy

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • cup Hungry Jack Original Syrup
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add flour and whisk until no lumps remains. Slowly whisk in milk. Bring to a simmer and cook until thickened, whisking constantly, about 5 minutes. Whisk in Hungry Jack Original Syrup and salt and pepper to taste.
