Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

Ingredients

  • ½ cup 1 stick butter, at room temperature
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 large ripened bananas mashed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • ½ cup of sour cream
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 cup of mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F. Spray a 9x5-inch loaf pan with baking spray.
  2. Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add egg, bananas, vanilla, and sour cream and beat until combined. Add flour, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder and beat until everything is just incorporated. Stir in chocolate chips.
  3. Pour into the prepared pan. Bake for about 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes and then invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.
