Ingredients

  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 (14 ounce) can whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 7 cps granny smith apples peeled and thinly sliced

For the topping:

  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats
  • cup all-purpose flour
  • cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • cup pecans roughly chopped
  • ¼ cup cold butter cubed

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375F. Spray a 9x13-inch pan with baking spray. 

  2. In a mixing bowl, stir together sugar, flour, and cranberry sauce. Add apples and toss to coat. Transfer to prepared pan. 

  3. In a separate bowl, combine the oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, and pecans. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over apples and cranberries. 

  4. Bake 35 - 40 minutes or the filling is bubbly and the topping is golden brown. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream, if desired.
