Pineapple Lemonade Sangria – the ultimate summer drink recipe! White wine, lemonade, and rum with tons of fresh fruit mixed in. It can be made ahead so it is perfect if you are prepping for a party!
Quick reminder: The blog will be down from Sunday night to Tuesday morning. If you need any recipes during that time, get them now!
And now we talk wine. Because it’s Friday! And I’m currently roadtripping with all 3 kids and a cockapoo. I’m almost positive that by the time this post goes live, I’ll be wishing that I was at the pool with a glass of wine in my hand.
(The husky was boarded. Because she sings in the car. And I couldn’t handle that for 19 hours.)
CK Mondavi recently sent me what may be the greatest box of goodies I’ve ever received. It was wine. All wine.
Through August, a percentage of each CK Mondavi bottle sold is going to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund. The IFHF is a organization completely funded by public donations that serves military personnel wounded or killed while serving our nation and their families. If you’re interested in this organization, you can find more information at www.fallenheroesfund.org.
Obviously this is something that’s really close to my heart. You guys know that my husband is currently on his second deployment to Afghanistan. I don’t want to get super heavy here but I really love IHFH’s mission to not only help physically wounded soldiers but also soldiers with post-traumatic stress disorder.
So if you are looking to buy some wine to celebrate our great nation with on the 4th of July, try CK Mondavi. You get tasty wine and you help veterans! Plus, CK Mondavi is the only 100% American grown/made wine in the “supermarket wine under $10” category.
How To Make Pineapple Lemonade Sangria
I used the CK Mondavi Chardonnay to make this Pineapple Lemonade Sangria!
This is a really simple cocktail recipe that you make ahead of time so if you are prepping for a party, this is perfect.
It is the Chardonnay with a can of frozen lemonade concentrate. Then you add the hard stuff! Light rum and orange liqueur! Then you sweeten if with as much or as little simple syrup as you want. There is a suggested amount in the recipe but sweeten it to your tastes!
Then all the fruit! You add a can of pineapple chunks, a diced apple, sliced orange and lemon, and strawberries! Let it sit in the fridge overnight so everything gets all delicious and then right before you serve it, top it with lemonl-lime soda (like Sprite or 7Up).
You can totally make this ahead of time for your 4th of July party! And I promise if you show up at someone else’s party with this, they will love you so much!

First – I loved learning about the IFHF organization and hold such love for all soldiers. I come from a military family so I completely understand how necessary it is to have people looking out for all the returning soldiers. Second – It looks like you totally put together the most tasty glass of sangria ever! I love that you threw in pineapple – my favorite!
