Bacon and Pimento Cheese Burgers – delicious (and easy!) homemade pimento cheese on top burgers with crispy bacon!
Something you may not know about me is that one of my favorite foods is pimento cheese. I don’t know how or why but I have loved it for as long as I can remember.
Almost every week when I do my big grocery shopping trip, I buy a tub of pimento cheese and a bag of those long pretzel rods and then I dip the pretzels in the cheese and that’s all I eat until it’s gone.
I mean, is that not one of the weirder things for someone to be obsessed with?
Pimento cheese on pretzels? And not just pretzels, it has to be the pretzel rods.
So when my dear friend Kita asked me to participate in Burger Month again this year, I knew Bacon and Pimento Cheese Burgers were happening.

My epic burger takes its cue from my favorite items at a steakhouse. Well seasoned patty layered with bearnaise sauce, lettuce, fried onions and french fries on a toasted bun.

I feel the same way about pimento cheese but always make my own. I do use sour cream and a little mayo. Also season with red pepper and whatever other seasonings I find! I love the burger idea! Coming soon to my house!!!

I feel like an ass because I missed this burger and I have no idea how. I am sorry.
It is one kicking looking burger. I dig the use of pimento cheese – I have got to give that a go, and that bacon on top… heck yeah. We are talking burger perfection. One, I had not had pimento cheese until like… a year ago. (ah! don’t hate me). And I agree 100% the more simple the burger, the better. And you can’t tell they are fat and not perfect – they look great! Thank you so much for joining in for another round of Burger Month! (keep up the practice, I am sure it will be back for 2016)
