Happy Monday, guys!
I have officially entered that weird space where I really need my kids to go back to school because they are driving me crazy but I also want it to be summer forever so I don’t have to go back to real life.
I’ve been trying to get back into cooking more though. I can’t tell you how many times we’ve had cereal for dinner this summer. It’s just so easy to lose track of time and all the sudden it’s 6 pm and everyone is starving and maybe I haven’t been to the grocery store in a couple weeks.
So I’m currently obsessed with simple meals that only require a few ingredients and only take a few minutes to prep.
Another thing I’m obsessed with: Smucker’s Fruit & Honey spreads. These are my favorite. Short ingredient list, sweetened with honey instead of corn syrup, basically everything I want in a spread like this. Definitely better for you than the average fruit spread.
And their newest flavor is Strawberry Jalapeno.
I may have actually squealed the first time I spotted it on the shelf at Walmart. Sweet heat is kind of my thing.
Be sure to check out the other varieties of Smucker’s Fruit and Honey Spreads: Strawberry, Concord Grape, Triple Berry and Blueberry Lemon! And before heading to Walmart to pick up a jar, download the Ibotta app to earn $1 on your purchase.
This salmon is SO EASY and has so much flavor thanks for the Strawberry Jalapeno fruit spread. Seriously, 5 minutes of prep, maybe less, and then in the oven for about 15 minutes. You’ve got a delicious, healthy dinner that’s perfect paired with brown rice or on top of a big bed of greens.
Next: I’ll be trying cocktails with the Smucker’s Fruit & Honey Strawberry Jalapeno Fruit Spread. Will keep you posted.
