7Up Biscuits – only 4 ingredients for the fluffiest, most delicious biscuits ever!
Never in my life has my husband asked me, midway through dinner, to make more of something.
Until these 7Up biscuits.
I’m gonna go ahead and warn you that these biscuits are addictive and you’ll consider making them every night after you try them the first time.
When I saw this recipe, I really didn’t know what to expect.
I mean, 7Up? In biscuits?
That’s just kind of weird.
I thought for sure they would be oddly sweet and more like a dessert biscuit than a buttery dinner biscuit. Not the case at all! You would never guess that it’s 7Up in them. They’re so fluffy and pretty much the most perfect biscuit you can imagine. We haven’t given it a try (yet) but I imagine these would be great for breakfast with some bacon, eggs, and cheese stuffed in the middle.
They’re really easy and only require 4 ingredients!
We went through almost 2 batches during dinner the night I made these and the remaining 2 didn’t last until morning. You HAVE to give these a try if you’re like me and have always been disappointed in biscuit recipes.

I love your recipes and have made a lot of them. My family loves them and asks for more to eat. Thank you so much for these easy recipes and write them down. I have made a homemade cookbook with all of your recipes, so they can be handed down to my two daughter’s children. When my friends come over to eat, they love the food and ask for the recipes on what I made. I gave them the name of your website so they can get all of these recipes also. God Bless you and your family!!
Lisa says
Have you made these with gluten free Bisquick?
Sylvia says
I make these biscuits and use club soda rather than 7-Up because my husband does not like the sweetness the 7-up gives them. These are the best buscuits you cn mke using either the club soda or 7-Up!
amanda says
Oooh, great idea using the club soda! I never have 7Up on hand but I always have club soda.
Caroline says
I am definitely trying this recipe, my mom grew up with homemade biscuits from scratch and i never learned how to make them, this one seems easy so i will try this one for sure!
Elizabeth says
I knead and fold dough with a little Bisquik to keep dough from being to sticky to handle. Then I cut the dough with a round biscuit cutter, keeps them from being to sticky to handle.
Elizabeth Clinton says
yes I thought the dough is very sticky ,even putting Bisquick on my hands to work with it ,next time I think I will put all dough into pan like some one said and work from there ,I think it will work out much better.
Ken says
Tried these tonight and they were absolutely wonderful! I made strawberry shortcake with them and it had to be the
best strawberry shortcake I’ve ever had! Had a second one and will now pay for that!
Nancy says
I must be a really poor baker/cook. I didn’t think these were easy at all. The dough is so soft and sticky, it was nearly impossible to pat it anywhere. I ended up trying to cut out individual biscuits and they stuck to the cookie cutter and the counter top even though I liberally spread more baking mix on it beforehand.
amanda says
Yeah, it’s an incredibly sticky dough. I actually pat the dough into the pan (with a little Bisquick on my fingers) and then use a knife to cut it into biscuits before I bake them. The cuts don’t stay all the way through but they’re easy enough to pull apart once baked. Sorry to hear that it didn’t work out for you. :(
Nancy says
They actually tasted pretty good. Didn’t rise much. Flat as a pancake. I cut them in half, put fresh-picked strawberries over them with a dollop of whipped cream on top. Worked out ok, but doubt I’d ever make them again.

These biscuits are the easiest I have ever made and the fastest Evernote to mention they are tender and delicious.I just put all ingredients in bowl and scoop out with big spoon and still come out good.
Nutmeg Nanny says
What an awesome recipe, I will have to try this out too!
Julie @ Table for Two says
These biscuits look so delicious! I would have never thought about using 7-Up in biscuits.
Christin@SpicySouthernKitchen says
I’ve cooked with Dr Pepper, Coke, and Root Beer, but never 7-Up. Your biscuits look totally amazing and I’m jealous because I suck at making biscuits. Want one right now!
Meagan @ A Zesty Bite says
I’ve seen this exact recipe. So glad you tried it out!
