Did we marry the same man?! My husband is exactly the same way. Although I think by now he’s come to terms with the fact that sometimes, he’s just gonna have to eat girly food. Or make his own dinner….which he would probably do only as a last resort. :)
This looks delicious, and it’s definitely my kind of food.
Oh… ::shudders:: I could live on gnocchi. I could fill my bed and sleep on gnocchi. I could wake up and eat gnocchi for breakfast. I have a problem. :) Thanks for sharing (and methinks I want to find a way to make gnocchi…)
I’ve attempted homemade gnocchi a few times without much luck, but I think it’s probably time I just tried a store-bought variety, especially for a meal like this! My husband isn’t usually happy unless our meals involve meat either so I try to save my girly food for when he’s out with friends :)
I would selfishly make this and eat it all myself because my boyfriend doesn’t like sausage. He is crazy. But in a case like this, that just makes me lucky :D I love spinach, sausage, and gnocchi so this is amaaazing. It looks delightful, YUM.
[...] Don’t let the title of this recipe fool you…it’s an incredibly simple dish to make but the flavor is amazing! I made this for my mom’s birthday dinner and it was a huge hit, even with my sister who is a culinary school graduate. I took some inspiration from Fake Ginger’s Gnocchi with Sausage and Spinach recipe. [...]

this sounds sooo good. I love Gnocchi! For BF’s birthday I had the most unbelievable gnocchi dish. I really should make it at home more often.

Oo yummy I love gnocchi. And I’ve never had sun-dried tomato sausage but it sounds like the perfect kind to use here.

I make something very similar to this except with chicken broth and kale. It is so good and definitely a staple in our house!
