Pineapple Brown Sugar Glazed Ham is perfect for Easter or Christmas or even a regular Sunday dinner! Baked spiral ham coated in a delicious brown sugar and pineapple glaze.
Use leftover glazed ham to make Honey Ham Biscuits or Overnight Ham Breakfast Casserole!
My family absolutely loves when I make a ham.
Besides having ham for dinner that day, we get lots of leftovers for sandwiches and then I always make a big batch of soup with the bone.
This ham is coated with a delicious pineapple brown sugar glaze while it’s baking and the pineapple makes it feel like the perfect spring or Easter ham recipe!
🥘 Ingredients
- Fully cooked, spiral cut ham – if it comes with a glaze packet, either trash it or use it for something else!
- Crushed pineapple – don’t drain it!
- Brown sugar
- Dijon mustard
- Cinnamon
🍴 Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325F.
- Place ham in a large baking dish and cover tightly with aluminum foil.
- Bake for 90 minutes.
- Meanwhile, whisk together crushed pineapple, brown sugar, dijon mustard, and cinnamon.
- After the 90 minutes, spoon pineapple mixture over ham, separating the slices so the glaze gets all over.
- Bake uncovered for another 30 minutes.
- Slice and serve!
🍖 How Long Is Ham Good For?
Ham is good in the fridge for 3 – 4 days. Make sure to keep it in an airtight container (these glass containers are my favorite!) and freeze whatever you won’t eat within 4 days.
Leftover ham is fine cold (like for sandwiches or diced up for salads) or you can warm it up in the microwave or oven.
❄ Can You Freeze Ham?
Yes! Ham is fine in the freezer for up to 3 months. You want to use an airtight freezer-safe container like my favorite reusable freezer bags or even a freezer ziploc bag. Make sure to squeeze out as much air as possible to keep the ham as fresh as possible.
I like to dice the ham up before freezing it to make it easy to throw into soups or casseroles or even eggs for a quick breakfast!
I also freeze the hambone in a freezer bag so that I can use it for soup later on.
🥗 What To Serve with Ham?
When I do a ham for Easter, I usually serve it with mashed potatoes, classic broccoli salad, and a green salad.
I also like to put some honey yeast rolls out for anyone who wants to split one it half and make little sandwiches.
