Can I complain about the weather?

I know, totally shocking that I’m not satisfied with the weather in Texas, right?

But y’all, all of Fort Hood has been flooded this week and it’s ruining my life. It took me an hour to find my way home the other night because all the roads to my neighborhood had rivers flowing over them or were already blocked by cops. And it was midnight and my poor babysitter was stuck at my house and all I wanted to do was eat nachos in bed while rewatching last week’s Survivor.

Ugh, Texas. Whyyyyy?!

Happy Monday, y’all!

How was the weekend? I stuck to my plan of dog park and not leaving the house again except to get a Lunchable yesterday because for whatever reason, I couldn’t stop thinking about stacking crackers, turkey, and processed cheese on top of each other.

Judge me if you must.

I did make marshmallows, though. Also had a full-on meltdown in front of my neighbors when I realized my kid had used all the cocoa powder and all I wanted was chocolate marshmallows. I’m a fun friend to have.

Hiii guys, we made it through another week. I made ice cream to celebrate.

Yeah, I know.

My life’s been weird this last month and I’m so out of this whole blogging routine right now. I have, however, made 3 kinds of ice cream in the past week so… let’s just just go with it.

Next week I’ll make a cocktail. Promise.
